Questions, answered
How does gutter financing work?
Payments can be as low as $99 a month, so you can replace the gutters now and pay over time. Ask about financing when you call or at your free estimate and we'll go over the options for your house.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Estimates are free (some exceptions apply; ask us when you call). We come out, measure the roofline, look at the gutters and the fascia behind them, and tell you what the house needs.
What's the difference between seamless and regular gutters?
Regular gutters come in 10-foot sections joined with seams, and the seams are where they leak. Seamless aluminum gutters are run to the full length of each eave, so the only joints are at the corners and downspouts. Aluminum is our material of choice; we also install copper, galvanized, PVC and wood gutters.
Do you fix the fascia board behind the gutter?
Yes. A gutter is only as good as the board it hangs from. We check the fascia at the estimate and repair it before the new gutter goes on. As roofers, we also handle the drip edge and the roof edge in the same visit.
Can you still put gutters on in November?
Yes. We install and repair gutters right up until the roof is under snow, and fall is the best time to do it. A gutter that's full, sagging or pulled loose is what sends winter meltwater down the siding and into the house instead of away from it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Mass Roofing & Gutters is a family-owned, fully licensed and insured Massachusetts contractor (MA License #126232), serving Greater Boston for more than 20 years from our shop at 470 Main St in Medford.
